Acupressure Cure for Common Diseases

Acupressure, literally the method of applying pressure to certain areas or nerves, is one of the safest, simplest and remarkably effective method for relief from pain and other common ailments.

Treating Common Problems Lung 2

Oct 2, 2007

Standing behind the receiver, place one hand on the forehead and the thumb of the other hand on the medulla oblongata point in the center of the back of the neck. Have the receiver breathe in and, on an exhalation, gently roll the head back onto the thumb. Repeat this 5-7 times. Massage the muscles on both sides of the neck. Hold each point for several seconds and repeat 3 times.
Place the thumbs near the center of the spine with the rest of the fingers resting on the shoulders. Firmly press the acupoints located between the shoulder blades.

The area from the shoulder level down to the bottom of the shoulder blade refers to the lungs and heart.
Have the receiver lie on the back. Press down the center of the chest on the sternum (breast bone) using the thumb. Use the other four fingers and gently massage the chest muscles. The area in front of the shoulder specifically energizes the lungs. Press here with the thumb, holding the acupoints around the outline of the shoulder for 3-5 seconds.

Ginger Compress

Compresses applied directly to either the front of the body on the chest, or the back on the shoulder blade area, will affect the lungs. Replace compress when it cools down, about every 30 seconds. Repeat this until lung area becomes red, about 15-20 minutes.
